The tickets have been in my wallet for over a month and I've had his songs on repeat.
Slowly but surely, Kailee and I inched our way to the front of the stage. We made it to the third row and I was a bit ridiculous. Unfortunately, Easton's been sick lately and wasn't quite back to normal. His voice was cracking a lot and at times he would just say the words instead of singing them. Not to fear, I was screaming the words to help him out and jumping up and down to make sure he noticed I was helping him.
Toward the end of the show he took some time to walk across the front of the stage to sign autographs and I streched as far as I could to make sure he grabbed my ticket to sign. He did. I almost melted from excitement.
He also felt bad about not giving his best performance and decided to stay and do pictures/autographs for anyone who wanted one. OH MY GRACIOUS - that was the best news I'd heard in a very long time!!
So...Kailee and I went and stood in line and I kept on smiling and then we made it to the front. I couldn't breathe, but managed to walk up to him, hand him a picture to sign, ask if he was feeling any better, and stay on my feet when he put his arm around me for a picture. I'm giddy just thinking about it now!
What a wonderful night! If only I could love him back here again soon...
