I leave the blog idle for a week and feel guilty because I haven't posted anything! I've promised pictures of the apartment and have been working on lots of little projects for my classroom that are begging to be shared with the world.
The truth is, I'm not in a routine yet and it's driving me crazy. I've been working pretty consistently on getting my classroom and mind ready for school while still trying to enjoy the last week of summer before inservice starts on Monday. Although I know I'll miss the freedom of summer days in a few weeks, I'm a 'J' personality - I like routines and schedules! - and right now I'd just like to have something to plan around.
Have no fear though - inservice starts Monday and school starts the 31st - after that all delays in blogging will be caused by me being a first year teacher and working myself silly to create the best environment for my students to excel.
I WILL be sharing apartment pictures soon though! Possibly this weekend (I'll be at the State Fair tomorrow!)
