The Reflection Begins

I love reflection time at the end of the year.  New years bring so much possibility and hope along with them (so do new days, but we're not getting quite that philosophical today...yet)

While finally sorting through some files of papers from UNI I came across lots of goodies that made me smile, tear up, and remember.  Letters, cards, papers, pictures, everything is attached to a memory and for me, makes sorting through things MUCH more time consuming than it should really be.

One of the gems found was a playlist of songs written on a notecard during a study session with a group of friends one night in Rod Library.  Listening to those songs tonight has my mind and heart working in overdrive.

My 2012 goals are still in progress, but I know at least one of them will be centered on my personal life and relationships.  During the last few years I have been so focused on my professional goals that I feel like I've neglected relationships - friendships included.  Although the professional goals have only grown since then, so have I.  I'm ready to move forward and I'm excited about the people who will be a part of that.

"I smile and wonder where you are and if you ever think of me..."
