Wedding Gift

As promised, I tried doing a larger 'photo canvas' project today.  Instead of a picture, I was thinking of how to create other types of wall art using this method.  With so many weddings this summer, the more unique wedding gift ideas I can find the better!  I am loving the idea and effect of subway art right now (see below) and used that idea combined with inspiration from the wedding invitation to make this project. 

This particular example will be viewable in my apartment this fall. (So excited!)

I don't love the finished project - it was really hard to make the straight lines actually appear straight on the canvas and my printer did some funky things to the top. This particular item will not be gifted, but with a cute ribbon hanger and the help of a 'straight-eyed' friend, this could certainly work as a cute, personalized wedding gift or wall-hanging for yourself!
